On July 1st, Wingtu Group once again joined hands with local business associations and community partners to take part in a large-scale voluntary blood donation event at Yiwu’s Meihu Sports Stadium. The gathering brought together over a thousand entrepreneurs and employees from across the city, all united by one goal — to give back to the community and help save lives.
As the president unit of the Jinhua (Yiwu) Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce, Wingtu Group has proudly supported this meaningful initiative for nine consecutive years. Over this time, we have mobilized nearly 500 participants and donated more than 13,000cc of blood, reflecting our long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility.
The event was filled with an atmosphere of warmth and solidarity. Volunteers arrived early, filled out donation forms, and lined up for health checks before heading to the donation stations. Among the donors were first-timers, seasoned regulars, and many female participants, all sharing lighthearted conversations while waiting their turn. The hall buzzed with encouragement and camaraderie — proof that acts of kindness are contagious.
Leading by example, Wingtu Group Chairman Jiang Yongzhong not only rolled up his sleeve to donate blood himself but also made time to check in with participants, reminding them to rest and take care after their donation. “Every drop of blood is a gift of life,” he shared. “We are grateful for the opportunities this city has given us, and it is our duty to give something back. This spirit of care and compassion is something we will always uphold.”
By the end of the day, 209 successful donations were made, totaling over 65 liters of blood — each unit potentially offering someone a second chance at life. For Wingtu Group, this wasn’t just about numbers; it was about fostering a culture of empathy, responsibility, and community spirit.
